Bays' Day
The Boy Scouts of America conducted
an Eagle Scout Board of Review
tonight at the First Presbyterian Church in Pikeville, KY for Troop 12. Eagle Candidate, Waco Denham Bays, IV answered many questions and discussed his
involvement in the Boy Scouts of America over the past years. After,
what seemed like an eternity, the Eagle Board (Gary Rosys, Ray Bartley, and I) voted unanimously
that Denham shall be the next Eagle Scout from Troop 12! He is #20 since 2004.

challenge Order of the Arrow members and lodges to increase their
effectiveness in promoting and increasing Scout camping in each council.

Nice Stuff!
I ran across your blog when researching some of the hiking trails we
covered when in Boy Scouts many years ago in the late '60s. The research
was prompted by going through some old boxes I've hauled around for the
past 50 years and finding several hiking medals and patches from
Kentucky, Ohio and possibly Virginia.
I've included some pictures of them to give you an idea of what I have.
I really don't have any use for them but hate to chuck them in the
trash. Would you like them or do you know anyone that would like them?
Will Davis
Thank you so very much Will!
