A Star Trek themed Fall Fellowship this year.
Vulcans were everywhere.

Vulcan father and daughter.
Some looked extremely real!
Some looked out of this world?
Best of luck to our 2017 Lodge Officers.  Photo by T. Alex Hill
A bunch of cool free stuff.
Fire building and starting is an intergalactic skill.
Every starship crew that I had can build a fire!

Just when I thought last year's Fall Fellowship was unbeatable, this year's LEC, (under the supervision of Lodge Adviser, Todd Haydon) pulled off one of the most fun and exciting Scouting events that I have ever been a part of!

Walter P. Walters: A Lifelong Pinnacle Leader of Scouting & Community.

4 term Council President.
There were 4 Silver Antelopes from the LPC.
John Worthington, grandson of WPW.
WPW at the April 25, 1994 event.  He died 2 days later.
"My benefits from Scouting in terms of personal satisfaction have been more than my contributions to the movement." -WPW
I would like to thank the entire Walters family for the preservation and passing along their father's history.  I am especially grateful to the daughters, Judith Hinkle and Anne Worthington, for taking the time to dig through boxes and sharing this wonderful story of one of the great pioneers of Boy Scouting in eastern Kentucky.  I am inspired by his life and work, as I hope others will be too.
