O A Elections are over. We now just have to get everyone through their Ordeal and follow up and try to ensure that they all have a quality experience.OA Elections are cool. I just love handing a script to a young man and asking him to be part of the process. I get answers like, "Umm, I'm not good at public speaking". Hey, you're your Troop's OA Rep. Now go and represent the OA!
I love it when they call the eligible guys forward! The pride, embarrassment, and awkwardness of it all. Then they vote.
Aye or Nay. Some make it, some don't.
The one thing I do notice when they are standing in front of everyone, is their eyes.
The ones with the look of "Aye" in their eyes, got elected this year.
