The Lonesome Pine District held an Eagle Board of Review last night at the First Presbyterian Church in Pikeville, KY. Troop Committee Chairman, Charles Baird, Troop Committee members Col. Dave Zoellers and Don Combs II, Chartered Organizational Representative, Sam J. Cochran, Assistant Scoutmaster, Mike Shepherd, and District Representative, Glen Felty convened to review Scout Devan Allara.Devan passed with flying colors. The single word from the Board was "impressive". Impressive in accomplishments, impressive in attitude, and an impressive example of what Scouting can do.
I know he is worn out from a bad case of nerves, but I'm very proud of him, as well as everyone in Troop 12.
