I like camping with Cub Scouts. My guys like camping with Cub Scouts. I know the Cub Scouts like camping with us. It is good for both groups to get together.We are heading up to Jenny Wiley for the District's Cub Scout Fall Camp Out. We are making a monkey bridge and assisting the monkeys. We have done this before and although it is a lot of work, it is fun for all.
It is pretty cool to see the look on a little guy's face when you teach him a square knot or light a cotton ball with a Hot Spark.
I'm bringing our Chapter's ribbon shirts and head dresses too. The Indians might even make an appearance at the campfire!
