night at the First Presbyterian Church in Pikeville, KY. District Representative, Glen Felty; Lt. Col. (retired) David Zoellers; and I had the opportunity to question and review Life Scout, Michael Shepherd.
This was my first Eagle Board of Review for Troop 12. As Scoutmaster, I never sat in one.
However, I have been in on several other Eagle Boards and I know an Eagle Scout when he has passed or not.
Michael Shepherd blew it away. Very calm, well versed, and confident of what he has learned through Scouting and how it changed his life.
Congratulations to Michael! A well deserved honor to one of the best examples that Scouting has ever produced.
