Friday the 13th. A good day to leave and go to Cimarron, NM to visit the "Holy Grail" of Scouting. Don Combs, Michael Shepherd, Will Goff, Devin Porter, Viet Pham, Tuan Pham, and I, along with 6 members of Troop 93 in Lexington are making the trip.I attended Philmont as a Scout in 1978. Now, 30 years later, I get the chance to go back.
I'll obviously be gone for a couple of weeks, but I promise to return with pictures and stories of our great adventure!
