"Over the week end, over half-a-million of you have gathered on the air, during the 51st JOTA, and via the Internet for the 12th JOTI. Once again, the Scout Movement has demonstrated its capability to open space for dialogue and mutual recognition, to young people of all nations, regardless of culture, religion or race. I did take the time and try out the JOTI ( Jamboree On The Internet ) for the first time.
I typed in: “Anybody here attend the WJ last summer?”
I ended up talking to several folks, but one in particular, that I remember. We stayed in Glacier and he was in Lagoon. He even had the silky Troop 211 patch still.
