I traded for several of these little community strip ribbon badges while we were in England. I thought they were cool and since the Goff family came over from England, well I just had to have some.The neckerchief got me into a little trouble. This Beaver Scout (Cub Scout here) wanted to trade his necker for one of our US contingent neckers. The rule was no adult and youth trading, but when I saw this one, well. I did get a verbal warning from the "patch police", but it was worth it.
I did some research on Goff's Oak and it is a town just east of London. Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham of the famed Spice Girls group and wife of the the big soccer dude, David Beckham is from there.
Very cool!
