"Scouting in the Hills" or commonly known as the Lonesome Pine District is in a state of Reconstruction. We have lost some key leaders and we have a new D.E. in the middle of recruitment, new unit organization, old unit CPR, new leader trainings, and all of the day to day stuff that has to be done.I believe that we are at a critical point. A point in time, that we as volunteers can do some things and regain that Quality District status, or not.
#1 We need a strong Cub Scout Roundtable program for all of these new leaders.
#2 We need people to go to Wood Badge.
#3 We need a District Commissioner.
Our success or failure is truly in our own hands.
