Aaron Shepherd - Eagle Scout

The Lonesome Pine District conducted an Eagle Scout Board of Review tonight at the First Presbyterian Church in Pikeville, KY. Garland Arnett, Jr., Lt. Col. (retired) David Zoellers, and I had the opportunity to question and review Life Scout, Aaron Shepherd.

Aaron has been with me since we started in Cub Scouts together. He is like my adopted son. I was extremely honored to be on his Eagle Board. We were shocked however, when we asked him for the secret Troop 12 rib sauce, and he actually handed it over! We got the real shock when we opened the envelope and found the "Recipe for Scouting". Good one Big A!!

After what seemed like an eternity to Aaron, we deliberated and found him worthy of Scouting's highest honor.

Truly a fine example of the B.S.A.'s best. I expect even greater things from this one.

He has learned leadership and service and practices them in his every day life extremely well. Watch out.

Scout's Honor!

Aaron is the 10th Eagle Scout from Troop 12, since we started back in 2004.
