SEAL

Congratulations Don Combs SEAL candidate! Don has been selected to have the chance this summer to cruise the historic tropical waters of Galveston Bay amongst the swaying palm trees and dolphins, shrimp boats, barges, and oil rigs deep in the heart of Texas, on waters once plied by Karankawa Indians, Cabeza de Vaca, Jacques LaSalle, Bernardo de Galvez, Jean Lafitte, Sam Houston, and other adventurers, historical figures, pirates, and unsavory characters. He will sail on the Houston Ship Channel to Galveston and Bolivar Roads, one of the busiest channels in the nation. Also, a cracker jack Fourth-of-July while anchored, celebrating the last evening of the course and completion of his successful training, viewing fireworks of five different shows.

SEAL stands for Sea Scout Advanced Leadership.
