One of my heroes passed away today to the Great Campfire in the Sky. Art Leach was a very good friend and a tremendous Scouter. He was my District Commissioner when I was the District Executive here in the Lonesome Pine. You notice I said "my" DC and not "our". That was the way I felt about Art. He was like a father to me and I will miss him very much.
May the Great Scoutmaster of all Scouts, be with us, until we meet again. Tell Caroline "Hi".
