My father never sent flowers to my mother on Valentine's Day. They were both depression era, hard working farm folks that didn't "waste money" on things that weren't absolutely necessary.I have always sent flowers to my wife on Valentine's Day. However, I send them without a card. I never claim that "I" sent them. It gets the kids all fired up and she knows who sent them.
